Kid Themed Club!

June is always an exciting month with Stampin' Up! Everyone
is excited about the new catalog and rushing to get their hands
on the retiring merchandise. I had a lot to show my Maryland
club this month. New Sneak Peeks, retiring items and cute kid
projects. My hostess for this month asked for some kid themed
projects. We had a boyish card and a girly one - then 6x6 album
pages to put in our awesome new 6x6 scrapbooks!

I tried to mix some retiring items along with new products
that will be available July 1st.

On the first card I used the Sprinkles stamp set
and the Very Thankful set, which are both soon to be gone.
The sentiment is from Family Phrases - this is a great
set to have for kid friendly projects!

New items include the Daffodil Delight and
Cherry Cobbler cardstock.

This card was for our first club swap!!

We all scream!! Love this new Sweet Scoops stamp set
available in the summer mini catalog. I used the masking
technique on this card along with Close to Cocoa cardstock
textured in the big shot. I will definitely miss the Cocoa ;0(

Sneak Peak Alert!! The sentiment used inside is from
a cute new Hostess Set called Apple Blossoms.

I was searching for Z fold cards and this card
popped up! I thought it was a cool variation of an
easel card and had to try it! Hope you like my take on it.

Sorry it's been such a long time since I posted creations.
May was completely crazy. Now that school is out and activities
are coming to a close I will have more time to share with you!

Thanks for stopping by and come back soon!

Quick and Simple - Four Square!

Morning Stampers! Today is a quick post showing a
couple of simple cards created with the Four Square
stamp set. I used some current In Colors that
will be sticking around to become part of SU's
Core Colors and also some "old" In Colors
that will be returning once again as Core Colors!!

Birthday card uses River Rock textured card stock,
Rich Razzelberry, V. Vanilla and Baja Breeze
(one of my ALL TIME favorites). I also dressed
it up a bit with some linen thread!

My cute little "Hi" card uses Rich Razzelberry, Wild Wasabi,
V. Vanilla, and Melon Mambo (a new favorite)!

Inside, I added some cottage wall DSP so I could
add a nice note to a friend or loved one! This is a
great trick when using a dark base cardstock!

Hope you like 'em! Thanks for stopping by and come back soon!

More Pages Completed!

I love the My Digital Studio software from Stampin' Up!
It makes scrapbooking and digital crafting so quick and easy.
You can complete full digital albums in an evening, or you can
print individual pages and add embellishments once printed to
include in your traditional scrapbooks - Hybrid Pages! This is a
great option if your looking to save time and money. You don't
have the added step of photo printing. Plus - the basic elements such
as page color and layers are already there! Just add those finishing
touches with punches or some ribbon and you're done!

Here are a few photos of some pages I completed in the spare moments
I grabbed at the computer over the weekend! Hope you like them!

My little Monkey - Jack!

My beautiful babies - Chloe and Jack!

Easter 2010

May is National Scrapbooking Month! It's the perfect time
to start those photo album projects, whether it's digital or
traditional! I'm looking forward to creating some great
album projects with my clubs! Check out my calendar of
events and join in the fun at one of my upcoming crops!

Thanks for stopping by! Come back soon!

Fun With Friends!

One of the benefits of being a demonstrator are the awesome
meetings we have! We get together every other month for brunch,
stamping, and chit chat! These ladies are so creative and
I feel very lucky to be a part of the group - Stampin' Sisters!

One of the first things we do is a card swap. What's a
swap? Each demo makes one type of card and then every
one swaps with each other. Go with one and leave with
tons of creative cards using different techniques and products!

Here are just a few of the incredible cards I received last
Saturday at our meeting. I had to share some of these with you!
You know my weakness for owls, right? Look at these!!
Above Left was made by Lynn Aikins.
Above Right by Jana Fetch

I love this little guy! Visit Jana's Blog here
to see even more of her fabulous creations.

Not only were Jana and Lynn on the same page with their owls,
but Amy Zukas and Heather Casey both brought purple -one of my
favorite colors! Amy's card shown to the left and Heather's to the right.

And you all know Tess! I took this little 3x3 card (above) for everyone to
use as a customer thank you. I just love the Tote-ally Tess stamp
set and one of my fello demos joking referred to this set as Just Jenny!
Well, Kim... I had to make a Just Jenny version!
Here she is.... Like it?

Anyone who has considered becoming a demonstrator should
attend one of our meetings! Just let me know - You are always
welcome to come join the fun and see what it's all about!

Hope everyone is having a great spring! Thanks for stopping by and
and come back soon! -- Jenny :0)

Easter Treats!

Yes, I said Easter Treats. I don't have any "Easter" stamp sets
so, I used the Cute As a Bug set! Bugs are springy, right?

We are headed to my Mom's house today for an
Easter Egg hunt and dinner with family. I made these
cute little treats for the kiddos!

Supplies Used

Stamp Set: Cute As A Bug
Colors: Tempting Turquoise, Only Orange, White and retired Kiwi Kiss
Misc.: Scalloped Circle, 1 1/4, 1 3/8 circle punches, small cello bags, and silver elastic cord

Thanks for stopping by and come back soon!

Maryland Club Info!

Hello Girls! Here are all three of your cards for this
month - I hope you like them! Wish I could be
there this time. I've completed the instructional
videos for all three cards. This is my first time
making videos, so please - go easy on me. I think I
said "ummmm" like 900 times while filming.
I'll do better next time. Click here to view the videos.

Look Mom, No Layers!!

(Click Photos to Enlarge)

Today's card is a one layer card, or no layer card.
It was fun to make and very simple. First, I cut
a scalloped circle using the Big Shot. Placed the
circle on the Bashful Blue card base and sponged around
it using Bashful Blue ink. Then sprayed with the color spritzer
tool and Not Quite Navy marker. Removed the circle.
Next, I used the XL Bird Punch featured in the current mini
catalog to make a stencil. Using a sponge dauber, I filled
in the stem with Olive and Artichoke, then lightly
inked the bird body with Suede and then heavily inked
the wing with Suede. The sentiment is from the Wings
of Friendship level two hostess set. The interior sentiment
is from the Messages for Mom mini catalog set.

I'm giving this at an upcoming swap and can't wait
to see what I get in return!

If you have any questions or would like to see a tutorial,
please let me know. Thanks for stopping by!
