Soft Summer

(Click Photos To Enlarge)

Soft Summer is one of my favorite sets from the Occasions Mini Catalog.
These two projects used the same set, but two totally different
techniques. You can really get get a lot of different options using
one set if you put your mind to it!!

Mini Note Pad with Stamped Cover

The little notepad used for this project, I got at my local grocery store.
The notepads are Mead and come four per pack for $0.99!!
I got this idea from Angie at Chic n Scratch.

Supplies Used:

Stamp Set: Soft Summer
Kiwi Kiss Textured Cardstock, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, So Saffron.
Inks/Markers: Kiwi Kiss, So Saffron, Rose Red, Pink Pirouette, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Close To Cocoa, Black Staz On.
Techniques: Blender Pens

Soft Summer Card Close-Up

I used the watercolor technique shown in the recent Sale-A-Bration
mini catalog. It was super easy and looks like you hand painted it!
I even sprayed the final image with the Color Spritzer Tool to make
it look a little more authentic! Think I'm fooling anyone? LOL!!

Watercolor Technique:
1. Color your stamp using the Watercolor Wonder Crayons.
2. Mist with water.
3. Stamp image.

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Soft Summer and Sprinkles
Cardstock: Kiwi Kiss, Very Vanilla, Pink Pirouette.
Inks/Markers: Kiwi Kiss, Close To Cocoa, Rose Red.
Misc.: Watercolor Wonder Crayons, Color Spritzer Tool.

113802 Soft Summer, set of 6

I hope these creations inspire you to try a new technique!
